Here's another photo of the lovely and legendary seventies supermodel Karen Graham, appearing in one of numerous Estée Lauder ads. Here she's joined by some friends.
I could joke about how she's a beautiful doll surrounded by beautiful dolls, but that would be misogynistic.
I don't get the symbolism either. It was probably meant to make Ms. Graham look sweet and innocent, but even she would insist that she was nothing like the woman she portrayed in the Lauder ads.
