Behold, the greatest American female swimmer since Helene Madison!
Janet Evans first took the world by storm at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, where she won three gold medals. With her famed windmill stroke, she set a new world record in the 400-meter women's freestyle event that would stand for eighteen years - this after setting new world's records a year earlier in the 400-, 800- and 1,500-meter freestyle events.
Did I happen to mention she's gorgeous? :-D
