Kate Winslet is the actress that made me fall in love with British women. :-)
She became a star playing a young débutante in the 1997 movie Titanic, and since I was of the wrong gender to fall for Leonardo Di Caprio, I fell for Kate Winslet easily. She has appeared in numerous movies since - Hideous Kinky and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are a couple - and she has won rave reviews for her work in her latest movie, Little Children.
Could she be a major star of the new century? I hope so.
