The daughter of Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini is well known as the official spokesmodel for Lancôme from the eighties and early nineties, but she is also known as an actress, one who mixes the conventional roles with the unconventional.
Her breakthrough role was in David Lynch's very weird Blue Velvet in 1986, but she has also been impressive in movies such as Cousins (a Hollywood remake of a French movie that actually worked) and Big Night.
