Here's a really sexy picture of Catherine Deneuve at 25, taken for a profile in Life magazine.
It was at about this time that our heroine made the first of two movies with the legendary director Francois Truffaut, Mississippi Mermaid, which had nothing to do with mermaids or the Mississippi River. In that picture, she starred opposite fellow legend Jean-Paul Belmondo in a tragic story of two star-crossed lovers, a tough street kid and a naive, innocent bourgeois figure.
