The Beauty of Sport, Part Three: Tennis player Victoria Azarenka

Russia isn't the only former Soviet republic known for its comely female tennis players. :-)

Victoria Azarenka is a tennis player from Belarus (formerly Belorussia), a country between Russia and Poland, and she's helped put her homeland on the map figuratively.  She was ranked as World No. 1 in women's tennis between 2012 and 2014, and she became the first Belarusian player to win a Grand Slam singles title by winning the Australian Open singles title in 2012 (she repeated her feat in 2013).

Ms. Azarenka also won the singles bronze medal and the mixed doubles gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics with Max Mirnyi, as well as two mixed doubles Grand Slam titles - the 2007 U.S. Open title with Max Mirnyi and the 2008 French Open title with Bob Bryan.

As of this writing, she lives in Monte Carlo.  And, as you can see in the picture, that isn't Monte Carlo or Minsk in the background. :-D
