Julie Floyd is a model who was active in the late seventies and early eighties.
The Arizona-born Ms. Floyd got her first big break when she won the International Fashion Modeling Association Pageant in 1977. She immediately caught the attention of modeling mogul Eileen Ford, who signed her to her namesake agency in New York City.
Ms. Floyd did print ads for numerous products, including Liberty of London fabric, an ad from which this picture is culled. As you can see - probably with some rue, given the appearance of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center - this photo was likely taken on the Brooklyn Heights promenade in New York.
Ms. Floyd has credited modeling school for preparing her well for her career.
